Avoiding The Mistakes with Adsense
Do not think that is so exciting, with many publishers AdSense, all for the creation of hundreds of sites that have absolutely no idea of customers? The first rule for creating and maintaining a successful enterprise is a thorough knowledge of customer . Do not think that is so exciting, with many publishers AdSense, all for the creation of hundreds of sites that have absolutely no idea of customers? The first rule for creating and maintaining a successful enterprise is a thorough knowledge of customer .
We will return the piece and look at another angle. Google does not have to pay for clicks on your site, the promoter of AdWords is to separate the money from you. The reason why is advertising to sell a product or service or to drive people to the site for subscription or whatever reason. We do so to gain a trade advantage.
The question here is: You are giving an advantage or you are simply the cost of money?
Have you heard "~ Adsense is dead" or "~ there is little money to be made from Adsense, as in the past." Most of the AdSense publishers believe that should be put in place a little more sites will make up for lost income. Dead Wrong.
The reason for the declining revenue comes from AdSense ads on targeted sites. Most people love to place blame at the dawn of Google, but this is not the case. The problem lies in the publication of thousands of sites for the production only clicks, therefore, optimized for the search engine and does not give a second thought to advertising AdWords.
The result of the abuse of Adsense is obvious. In the most recent information products AdWords one of the first warnings you have been given during the AdWords ads is to remove the link to advertise the network. The reason is simple: ads appearing on pages bad leading to bad customers. It is a waste of money advertising and direct loss of revenue for publishers AdSense. All serious AdWords advertisers are not advertising on the network, resulting in less competition. The cost per click on a page of content is much less than the cost for a general search page.
AdWords and AdSense will never die and is and will remain one of the better incomes for many internet marketing.
And now? The answer lies in improving the quality websites with content. Playing with the search engine not against it. If you want to compete with a search engine to create your own. Not impossible, Google has done and achieved.
What is improving?
The key words are optimizing must relate to the content of your Web pages and add value to the visitor. That does not mean that we should write a word a thousand pages with yours. One to two hundred words per page will be fine, enough to answer the question or part of the question that visitors seeking the investigation period. From there on the page can lead to ads AdSense, with a click on the link will be targeted visitor to the advertiser.
There is no need to write each page, you can always use DPP content and articles on websites you make sure that the main question that the visitor will have when searching for the word answer and display the following more specific information through the AdSense ads.
Imagine the joy their faces when they receive a five-check the number Adsense, and I think the joy you put on the face of AdWords advertisers also receive a five-day number of payment?
Once your site properly implemented, there are some things we need to pay attention. The truth about AdSense placement, there is something to it. For CTR high placement of your ad must be highly optimized.
I found myself test various methods of disposal Adsense. A training course for all does not work. In some pages, will be higher and others would be lower.
It all depends on the content of the page and the question you should ask yourself at this point is the content of the visitor is more likely to want more detailed information. If you write your content, you have to write so that you give information, then raised the curiosity and is at this point, where your ad will appear for the first time. Using this method, and maintaining focus on the content of your site, you will see the number of clicks and AdWords advertisers will receive targeted visitors he wants.
You are beginning to see how important it is to get the content and ads for the moment, let me ask you this: You are one of the publishers AdSense costing money or advertiser - you actually what advertisers help them win money?
10 Tips To Improve Google Adsense Earnings part 1
As predicted in last months MyBlogEarnings, my Adsense income has taken a bit of a hit this month as advertisers start to reduce their spend. So far this month my CTR has remained fairly constant, but my CPM has dipped by a few dollars.
I haven’t really worked on my adsense optimisation for a while, as after growing my adsense income from a few hundred dollars to over $4k in 8 months, I’d assumed that I pretty much had it cracked.
However, after this months CPM reduction I’ve added adsense optimisation to the list of things I’m going to focus on this month. Here are 10 Tips To Improve Google Adsense Earnings that have worked for me in the past, that I’m going to focus on this month to get my CPM back up for the rest of the month.
Make The Most Of Google Love
One of the common reasons bloggers don’t make a lot of money from Google Adsense is because they don’t write about topics that people are searching for answers on i.e. using Google. Just writing interesting articles isn’t going to get you a lot of clicks on ads as your readers won’t be searching for answers or certain products.
If you take a look at my top posts in the sidebar you will see that most of the posts are giving tips, or useful links for services, or are product reviews i.e. posts that get lots of Google love which sends lots of click happy people through to my site. If you post more articles of this ilk your adsense earnings will increase. These articles are also timeless and will continue to get Google traffic long after my regular readers have moved onto newer material.
To maximise your Google traffic don’t forget the basics like making sure your post titles are clear and that your first paragraph clearly explains what the post is about, so that even if you are not the top result you have increased your chances of being clicked on. Take a look at my top posts - every one of the post titles makes it clear what the post is about, which is why they do well on Google.
Smart Pricing - Less Is Better
I’m stunned by how many blogs haven’t factored in Google Adsense Smart pricing into their site design. If you haven’t come across Adsense Smart Pricing before, then in one sentence this is where Google looks at your site’s overall CTR and if it’s low then it will display lower value ads and if it’s high it will display higher value ads.
So, for many sites a quick way to improve earnings is to actually display fewer ads i.e. to remove poorly performing ad units like sidebar ads, or ads that are below the fold etc. This will increase your site’s average CTR, which will make Google display higher value ads in your better performing spaces which will raise your overall earnings.
Smart Pricing works across your Adsense account, not just on a site by site basis. So, if you are displaying a significant number of Adsense ads on other sites that have a poor CTR then you should remove them as your main sites will benefit.
If You’re Going To Place Ads Put In Best Spots - Don’t Kop Out
In my view, if you are going to run ads on your site then it doesn’t make sense to do it half-heartedly i.e not put your ads in the best slots. If you do you’ll never get to see the full benefits - if you’re going to do something in my view, then do it right!
This heatmap shows where the best positions for Google Adsense Ads are.
Blend Your Adsense Units
Following on from the previous tip, again if you are going to add Adsense ads to your site then again I think you should make sure that they are fully optimised. The best way of doing this is to blend the ads into your site by making sure that the text and link colours match.
To maximise CTR you should also wrap text around your ads. Many sites have tried placing ads above text or even before articles, but in my opinion this is a bad move, as all it does is encourage readers to ‘jump’ past your ads straight to the content.
Get A Good Stats Package
One of the difficulties with Google Adsense as it’s virtually impossible to see for certain which posts have a high CTR. But, if you have a good stats package then at least you can see which of your posts are popular so that you can try and write more of the same to further grow your traffic.
10 Tips To Improve Google Adsense Earnings part 2
Rewrite Best Articles So That Better Ads Appear
In tandem with working out what your best articles are, you should manually see what kind of ads are displaying on your bigger posts. Take for instance my number one post. The ads that were originally being displayed were awful and the post itself was only about one line long.
However, once I spotted the crazy Google traffic I went back and rewrote the post so that it included links to other related posts and improved the keyword density so that better Adsense ads are now displayed.
Reduce Noise Around Ad Units
One of the best ways to improve your Adsense CTR is to reduce the amount of noise around your ads. If you are serious about increasing your CTR then you want to limit the amount of other links and noise around your units.
For instance, take my best performing unit at the top of my posts which accounts for around 80-90% of my adsense income. Have you noticed how I don’t even have a post stamp near it? The only ‘noise’ near that unit is the title because I can’t sensibly move it! No author name, categories, ratings, tags etc in sight.
Don’t Use Competitive Ad Filter - Trust Google
This one may be a bit controversial, but I fully believe that to increase Adsense Earnings you shouldn’t use the competitive filter and that you should trust Google, as Google will always display the ad it thinks will work best on your site and which has the highest CPC. If this turns out to be one of the ads that you’ve blocked, then all you are actually doing is reducing your potential earnings. I believe that you should only use the competitive filter to eliminate competitor ads, not in an attempt to increase Adsense earnings.
Get An Adsense Optimised Theme
I couldn’t finish this list without plugging my Adsense Optimised theme. I have lost count of the number of people who have thanked me after they have changed their theme to Typo XP Reloaded. Having a theme that’s designed for adsense can make a huge, huge difference.
If you are attached to your current theme then try and make tweaks that will help your CTR e.g. do you need that huge bright header that is pushing your ads below the fold and is only creating more ‘noise’? Should you use nice blue links that everyone knows means ‘click here’ rather than that funky link colour you like because it matches your wallpaper?
I hope you found these tips useful, or at least they’ve given you food for thought. As always feel free to share any of your tips or comments below. If you are looking for other ways to make money from blogging then this post might help.
How To Maximize Your Adsense CTR - AND Earnings Per Click
You will have 3-4 ads on your page MAX. (NOT ad blocks. ADS). The fewer Adsense ads show on a page, the higher the average earnings per click for you.
If you place more ads on your page, they will show ads that rank lower on Adwords (and are cheaper). You don't want people to click on ads that pay you $0.05. You want them to click on ads that pay you $0.50! Adwords are generally disproportionately expensive on the top positions. After a while, the bids "normalize" and you won't get paid as much for showing that "Adsense" on your site.
Also keep in mind that many options confuse people. Give them few links to click on.
Don't forget to create channels to track your ads. You can set up a new channel by following this path inside your Adsense account:
Adsense set up ==> Channels ==> Add new custom channels
Be descriptive in your channel name so you know what is going on and you don't get confused. For example, if you have a page on golf clubs and you are testing a 250X250 square on the top left of the screen, use a name like: golfclub250X250left
Also make sure that you don't use channels you have used in ads in previous different markets. I have found that this can confuse the system some times and your page can show ads for the OLD market you were in. This happens especially if there is not a lot of ad inventory in the new market you are in.
Many webmasters like the big rectangle. Why? Because it works! It gets very good CTR. However, I'm not sure that most people have actually tracked the profitability of their ads. Different markets can respond differently BUT, here are a few things to consider:
The 250X250 square, has almost the exact same look like the big rectangle. One ad below the other. But it shows three ads instead of four. What does that mean? It means that you give your visitors fewer options to choose from (but not too few) and they may decide to click more easily. Not only that but you now eliminated the 4th ad which would be, on average, the lowest paying of the four.
Can we push this even more? We can. We can create a similar block of ads with only two ads this time. Just create two 234X60 half banner ads and put one under the other. You now have a "mini rectangle" with only two ads. In many markets, two ads is the sweet spot not only as far as CTR but also as far as earnings per click go.
What about having only one ad then? This would definitely give you the highest earnings per click. But one ad usually doesn't give people that much of an option. If it's not compelling enough, they won't click it. I would have at least two ads on my page.
Note: if you use the trick with the two half banners one on top of the other, make sure that you use different channels. I found that, if I use the same channel name, the exact same ad can show twice on my page! Use different channel names. It makes sense from a tracking standpoint anyway.
Make sure you disable the "advertise on this site" link that your Adsense ads show by default. This will make your ads look less like, well, ads - and more like helpful resources. Login to your Adsense account and click "My Account". Scroll down where it says: Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up [edit]. Under that it should say: Subscription: You are not currently subscribed to Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up. If it says you are signed up, click the edit link and uncheck the box on the next page. All "advertise on this site" links on your ads should disappear in a few hours max...

Most people have no idea that this even exists. Yes, there is a quality score for Adsense as well – not just for Adwords. If your site has a low AQS (Adsense Quality Score), then it will be "smartpriced" and you will get paid less for the clicks your site generates.
Since we are in the business of making more money, let’s see some of the things you can do to prevent this from happening...
You need to know that Google has some universal rules that they apply to pretty much everything they do.
If a page has certain qualities, it will rank higher on Google
If a page has certain qualities, it will get a higher quality score in Adwords
If a page has certain qualities, it will display Adsense ads that pay you more.
Here are some of the things you can do to improve your Adsense Quality Score:
- Add quality links to your pages
- Add related keywords to your main term: If you have a page about "seduce women" you may consider including some keywords like "pick up artist", "dating" etc...
- Use Terms of service and privacy policy links on your page. Yes, this can result in a higher Adsense quality score. Do it.
- Try to make your site more interactive so that visitors will stay on it longer. Google thinks that, if someone spends more time on your site, it must be high quality. Adding comment forms, special reports, videos etc can make your visitors stay more on your aite.
- Tell your visitors to bookmark your site (Google considers this a good sign of high quality as well)
How to Display More Targeted AdSense Ads on Your Blog part 1
"TARGETING ADS", some guys out there may ask "Is it really important to pay attention as a google publisher?"
I will explain this with small example here so that you guys can have a crystal clearance in this discussion. Lets say you have a blog on Making money for example Making money blog.
Its a blog with PR 0, so you can sometime see ads such as
Now visitors will come to the blog to know how they can earn and they will not be interested in origin of the Universe. Now you guys have some idea about which am talking. you may have sometime come across such things in your website or blogs. Question is how to target only ads related to your content, not otherwise. Why to show ads not relevant to your blog content.
SOLUTION
Google provides this string of code to place on our web pages that alerts AdSense to display ads that are relevant to only that section we’ve enclosed in it. Likewise, we can also tell Google to ignore certain sections of our website by using a different set of instruction codes.
Obviously, these little bits of code can allow us to do some pretty evil stuff. But, I’ve only had mixed results with them thus far. In future revisions of this book, I will most definitely update this section as more data comes in to analyze. For now, do what it is we do best: mess around with it! don’t expect anything to show up, you won’t immediately notice a change.
I’d recommend only using one or two on each page otherwise Google might just ignore them.
Important Note
In order to properly implement Section Targeting, you’ll need to include a significant amount of content within the section targeting tags. This means make sure your blog posts are a pretty good length otherwise insufficient content may result in less relevant ads or public service ads and it’s not worth adding these tags. It is also against Google’s AdSense policy to manipulate the ad targeting code to result in ads that are not relevant to the content of your pages. Don’t do it otherwise you risk getting banned from AdSense.
Increase 1000% in Adsense Income
Hi guys,
I've been using the forum for quite some time and, to say thanks, I would like to give you a simple tactic I used to increase my adsense earnings.
By today I use this in two of my sites and it's working great.
1. I use a squeeze page or a hover ad with an opt in form
2. I use aweber to get the emails and then send some follow ups
3. I send people to articles with adsense ads
4. In the article pages I use a hover ad to give some "tips" about reading, here I include the text "If you find links in the content try opening them in a new window so you don't loose the reading" - This give me realy good CTRs
5. Once a week I put the aweber emails in my hosted script 12all
6. Using 12all I program emails every week inviting the reader to check a "Last News page"
7. In the news page I post RSS content using XsitePro (You can use some free script), I also use the hover ad with tips.
8. Along with the RSS I put some Ads.
That's it.
The average CTR went from 1%-5% to around 30% and from 50ctv to $8-$12 daily with very few visitors (avg 177).
I didn't used to saw adsense as a great income possibility. Most of my income came from selling software/ebooks. But with this results I'll replicate the tactic and see how it goes.
I hope this is useful for y'all

How to make your blog churn out hard cash. Now proven!!

Making money from your blog these days is not just only very possible, but actually very easy.
You’ve got excellent writing skills, and you’ve got brilliant ideas or burning issues you regularly share with the world. You’ve probably got a blog that is generating a considerable amount of traffic. You don’t have to put all that traffic to waste. You could make a decent earning while sharing with the rest of the world.
Making money from your blog these days is not just only very possible, but actually very easy. For starters, you could make use of Internet advertising programmes. The more popular ones are Blogads, AdGenta, Chikita eMiniMalls and Google Adsense.
The most popular and profitable, however, is Google adsense. It’s free and way too easy to use. All you need do is apply to Google’s adsense programme.
They’ll send you an html code which you copy to your blog’s layout and then adverts related to the subject you are writing on would appear beside your blog posts. Each time a person visits your blog and clicks on the ad, Google pays you.
You can also register for an affiliate programme. There are lots of them, including Rocket profit, Incent reward and Amazon associates.
The Amazon Associates programme is the best of them all. It gives bloggers the opportunity to promote any product in Amazon’s inventory as affiliate agents.
Just like Google adsense, all you need do is add a small, identifying code to the links that take your site’s visitors to a specific Amazon product page (books, DVDs, electronics, etc.). If the visitors who clicked on your link buy an item even if it’s not the item you point to — you earn a small commission.
Furthermore, you could sell and promote your products on your blog. Many bloggers use their blogs to promote their books, e-books, branded t-shirts, or the sort.
Your t-shirt, for example, could have a tagline about a strong message or cause about something you are really passionate about, or which your audience is passionate about. Provided it is affordable, you audience is sure to buy.
If your blog has a lot of traffic, you could take advantage of this by approaching a company to become its official online blogger.
An increasing number of companies are paying bloggers with highly visited sites to do write-ups on their products and services. These are called Paid assignments. With your blog, you could write up articles for clients, sensitising your audience about a product or a new service.
This however must be done with caution. When you do it too often you could bore your audience and lose a following. The only thing here is that you, as a blogger must be as transparent, accountable and professional as possible.
Finally, you could sign on to be a blogger on blog networks. Some blog networks which pay bloggers and writers to write include www.creative-weblogging.com, www.payperpost.com, and www.weblonginsc.com. These blogs are always looking for people to write quality articles, and they are willing to pay for it.
You could earn a decent income just blogging on subjects you love. So, get on your computer, work with your skills and let your skills work for you.
Best Two Most Successful Blog Business Models for Adsense
Entrepreneurs have two different business models that they use in order to make money from blogs. The first way that they make money is they sell advertising to different companies and make money when the blog’s readers click on advertising or click through and make a purchase.
Entrepreneurs have two different business models that they use in order to make money from blogs.
The first way that they make money is they sell advertising to different companies and make money when the blog’s readers click on advertising or click through and make a purchase. These blogs use affiliate programs and Adsense to generate revenues.
The second way that they make money from blogs is by helping a single brand improve its image by creating a positive association, between the blog and the product, in the mind of the consumers.
If the creator of the blogs has a good mind for marketing, both of the blog business models can make a lot of money.
If your goal is to sell advertising on your blog there are two ways that you can go about finding ways to generate an income with your blog. The first way is to let someone else do all the work to find the advertisers or you can do all the work yourself and keep all of the revenue rather than paying out a portion to someone else.
In the first way, you will be able to keep all the revenues yourself. Many people make money with blogs by selling space through the Google AdSense program. There are many advantages to this program, because it requires little work on the part of the blogger in order to start making profits. You will find, however, that you will make less money on this method than you hoped to earn. But, you can make a fortune if you do it right.
Selling advertising directly to companies that want to put an ad on your site, can be extremely lucrative. You would only want to do this if you have a lot of people that you already know in the industries related to the topic of your blog.
You would have to have a strong background in sales and have to be able to pitch proposals. If you can do this you can make a lot of money renting real estate space on your blog to different companies. The downside, is that you would have to build up a large readership before advertisers will pay you money. It could take several months of hard work before you will see a profit from your blog.
As blogging becomes more and more profitable, many established companies will consider how they can get into blogging. One of the ways that companies can get into the action is by having their own blogs. The blog can provide a friendly face for their corporation. Companies will often hire established bloggers to create a weblog for their company. Bloggers are getting hired by companies to make and run blogs that help the company build a positive image to their company. This maybe a route that you can take to have blog success.
Consider these two ways that you can make bucks from your blog. Start a blog today. It is easier than you think.
Google's Ad Network, Now With Double the Cookies
As part of the ongoing integration of its DoubleClick acquisition (yesterday it sold off Performics), Google will be placing an additional DoubleClick cookie on the browsers of everyone who visits a site that is part of Google's current AdSense network. This will allow Google to more easily serve up display ads from DoubleClick across that network of sites. It will also allow it to introduce some basic improvements such as frequency capping (letting advertisers limit how many times the same person sees the same ad), and better reporting and conversion data.
All of that is great for advertisers and great for Google, which will be able to leverage its vast, existing Adsense network to push more display ads as well. This is what scares the hell out of Microsoft and Yahoo, and was the prime impetus for Microsoft seriously getting into the online ad business in the first place with its acquisition of aQuantive last year and its attempts to buy Yahoo this year.
For consumers, it means even more cookies on their browsers and more attempts to target ads to them.
On the bright side, for those who of you who have enough cookies on your browser, Google is letting you opt out of cookies for both AdSense and DoubleClick ads with one click.
Clarification: If you already have a DoubleClick cookie on your browser, and you probably do, then you won't get a new one. That one will just work with Google's ad network. And Google's ad network has been able to serve display ads from DoubleClick and others since May, but this strengthens that capability with respect to DoubleClick ads in particular.
